Every account has one, in Settings. Sharing a progress card counts too — a shared card is a referral link, so if a friend signs up from one, it's attributed to you.
2 · They get going
The reward lands once your friend is actually using MyGlyde — they've confirmed their email and either started a trial, or been around a week and finished at least one task. Not the moment they sign up.
3 · You both get a free month
30 days of Plus each. If you're already paying, yours arrives as credit against your next bill instead of extra time — worth whatever you pay, which for founding subscribers is less than £7.99.

How does the referral scheme work?
Share your link — it's in Settings, and every progress card you publish carries it. When a friend joins through it and actually gets going (email confirmed, plus either a trial started or a week in with a task finished), you both get 30 days of Plus free. The first friend also earns you a Freeze Shield and 40 reward credits, with more at three and five. Fair-use limit of 12 free months a year; see /refer for the detail.
Is my data private?
Yes. Cognitive signals — focus telemetry, tab-aways, room presence — are processed on your device and never stored on our servers. Analytics are self-hosted, cookieless and anonymous. You can export or delete everything from Settings.
Who is MyGlyde for?
Ambitious people who want momentum without burnout. It was designed with neurodivergent brains in mind — tiny first moves, visible time, streaks that don't punish — which turns out to make it better for everyone.
Will the gamification nag me?
No. The rewards are ones you chose, streaks bend instead of breaking, and there are no guilt screens or red badges — momentum should pull, not push.
What does it cost?
Free includes capture, planning, timers and 3 AI actions a week. Plus is £7.99/mo (or £59/yr) for unlimited AI, coach tools and focus rooms — with a 14-day free trial you can cancel any time. £7.99/month is our founding price — locked for 24 months from the day you subscribe. After that you move to the standard price, with at least 30 days' notice.
What happens if I cancel Plus?
You keep everything. AI goes back to 3 actions a week, shields you've earned still work (you earn 1 a month on free), your reward menu keeps every treat you added (new adds cap at 3), and stats show your last 7 days — the rest of your history is kept and comes back if you return. Nothing is ever deleted.
Does it work on my phone?
MyGlyde is a web app that installs to your home screen — one tap on Android, and Share → Add to Home Screen on iPhone. It needs an internet connection; if you drop offline you'll see a friendly holding page (nothing you did is lost), and it can send gentle nudges if you opt in.
What if I stop using it for a while?
Nothing bad happens. No guilt screens, no red numbers. A missed day spends a Freeze Shield if you have one banked (you start with 3; free earns 1 a month, Plus earns them faster), your history stays either way, and Today starts small again whenever you're back.
Can I leave and take my data?
Any time. Settings → Your data gives you a full JSON export and a permanent delete — no email required, no retention tricks.
