Data Processing Addendum

This Data Processing Addendum (“DPA”) applies when an organisation (“Customer”) uses MyGlyde Teams and we process personal data on its behalf. The processor is Aethus Ltd trading as MyGlyde, registered in England and Wales (company number 17067424), Independence House, 14a Nelson Street, Southend-On-Sea, England, SS1 1EF. It incorporates the requirements of Article 28 UK GDPR.

1. Roles and scope

The Customer is the controller of its team members’ personal data; we are the processor. For individual (B2C) accounts we are the controller and our Privacy Policy applies instead. By design, cognitive and behavioural-rhythm signals are processed on-device only and never reach our servers — they are outside the scope of any processing under this DPA.

2. Instructions

We process personal data only to provide the service as documented, on the Customer’s instructions given through the product, and never for our own purposes. We do not sell personal data.

3. Confidentiality and security

Access to personal data is limited to what operating the service requires; everyone with access is bound by confidentiality. We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encryption in transit, row-level security on every user table, scoped credentials, and least-privilege service access.

4. Sub-processors

The Customer authorises the sub-processors listed at /legal/sub-processors. We remain responsible for their performance and will update that page before changes take effect.

5. Assistance and rights

We assist the Customer with data-subject requests (access, export, erasure — largely self-serve in-product), and with security-incident notification without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting Customer data.

6. Return and deletion

On termination, the Customer can export its data in-product; account deletion permanently removes personal data except where retention is legally required (e.g. tax records).
