The person behind MyGlyde

“My name is Lawrence, and I’m someone who needed structure like this — so I built it. I hope it works as well for you. Let me know how you get on and if you have any ideas.”

— Lawrence, founder of MyGlyde · August 2026

MyGlyde didn’t start as a product. It started as the tool Lawrence built for himself and used every day for two months — because starting was the hard part, time kept disappearing, and one missed day used to mean giving the whole thing up. The pieces you see here — Magic Breakdown, the visible sprint ring, Freeze Shields, a reward menu you design yourself — each exist because some part of a normal to-do app quietly didn’t work for the way his brain runs.

That’s still how it’s built: used daily by the person who makes it, changed when something feels like friction, and never allowed to guilt you. A missed day is a day — not a verdict.

The Today view picking one thing to do next: 'Draft the Q3 summary intro', tagged ~25 min and due Monday, with a Begin button, Not right now and Swap beside it, and a banner reading '2 done · ~50 min of focused work · streak 12'.
The screen it all starts from — captured from the live app.

What MyGlyde is not

MyGlyde is a productivity app, not a medical device. It doesn’t diagnose or treat anything, and it’s not a substitute for clinical support. It’s simply structure that assumes effort deserves credit.
